THE FANTASTICKS is a funny and romantic musical about a boy, a girl, two parents and a wall. The narrator, El Gallo, invites the audience to use their imagination and follow him into a world of moonlight and magic. The boy and girl fall in love, grow apart, and finally find their way back to each other. <br><br>Please come prepared with 16-32 bars of a Broadway show tune. Preferably in the style of the show, but any style is acceptable. If you are comfortable with specific song for a role from the show please feel free to audition with it. All performers should be good movers. <br><br>No a capella singing. An accompanist will be provided for you. There will be readings from the script.<br><br><br>Character <br><br>Matt (Male, Tenor/ High Baritone, 18-late 20s): As a young lover, he is deeply in love, particularly with the idea of being in love. He lacks experience in the world so, while not stupid, he is naive and perhaps even foolish at times.
