A madcap romp through the holiday season! Contains some mild adult content and language.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
Actor #1 - Is the traditionalist of the three, wishing only to do "A Christmas Carol". He/she comes around, though, to join in the fun. Other roles include the Grinch, Hermie (from Rudolph), a Parade Host, the Crocodile Hunter, Scrooge and George Bailey.

Actor #2 - Is the "wise guy" of the three, to some extent, goading the others into doing other Christmas shows. Other roles he plays are the Head Elf and Yukon Cornelius from "Rudolph...", a Dating Game style game show host, a (female) Parade Host, Bob Cratchit, and the Ghost of Christmas Past.

Actor #3 - Is both a traditionalist and a trouble-maker, kind of a go-between Actor 1 & Actor 2. Among the many roles he/she plays are Rudolph, Frosty, Clarence, Mary Bailey, Uncle Billy, and Mr. Potter.

Although the show was originally written for three men, these roles are not restricted by gender, ethnicity, age, body type, etc.

Auditions will involve cold readings from the script, as well as a small amount of improvisation with other potential cast members. Headshots and resumes are not required. This play has a fair amount of audience participation, and most “scene changes” are done with props and frequent costume changes. The show requires ability to work with an audience, and with frequent scene changes performed by the actors.

Rehearsals will begin mid-late September. Please bring all available scheduling conflict information to the audition.

For further information, please contact Barbara Davis-Dickman at bdd1101@gmail.com

--

Confetti Stage, Inc

www.confettistage.org

https://www.facebook.com/ConfettiStageInc

Please join us for our 11th annual short play festival, featuring 6 original works by local playwrights, Confetti Fest 11, running October 2-11, 2015!
