Schulz, based on the television special by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson, Stage Adaptation by Eric Schaeffer, by Special Arrangement with Arthur Whitelaw and Ruby Persson, directed by Laurie Larson. Auditions will be held on Monday, October 24 and Tuesday, October 25 from 6:00-7:30pm at the Spa Little Theater in Saratoga Spa State Park. There are 13+ roles available for actors ages 20-45.<span style='background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow'><o:p></o:p></span></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-indent:.5in;line-height:150%'><span style='font-family:"Gill Sans MT","sans-serif"'>The classic television special comes to life in this faithful adaptation where the Peanuts gang grapples with the real meaning of Christmas. In order to get him into the spirit of Christmas, Lucy convinces Charlie Brown to direct the school’s Christmas play. Little does he know he is about to guide his undisciplined and uncooperative friends, Lucy, Linus, Pig Pen, Sally, Schroeder, Snoopy and the bunch to an understanding of what the holiday is all about.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-indent:.5in;line-height:150%'><span style='font-family:"Gill Sans MT","sans-serif"'>Production dates are weekends, December 9-18, with two weekday morning performances on Dec 13 and 15 at 10am. Rehearsals will begin November 1. Actors should bring a current photo and resume. Photos cannot be returned. No appointments are necessary for the audition.
