Attendance only required at one audition evening. The cast consists of <em><span style='font-family:"Trebuchet MS","sans-serif";color:#060100;font-style:normal'>adult actors, ages 18 and older, with two roles available for actors 16 and older.</span></em></span><span style='font-family:"Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"'><o:p></o:p></span></p><p style='text-align:justify;text-indent:.5in;line-height:150%'> <span style='font-size:11.0pt;line-height:150%;font-family:"Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"'>Tony winning <i>Peter and the Starcatcher</i> upends the century old story of how an orphan boy becomes Peter Pan. This is an amazingly creative theatrical adaptation of Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling novels. It’s a play with music, not a musical. Although there is no dance in the show, it’s very physical and some cast members should be prepared for extensive movement and the ability to lift certain cast members. Unlike the original production which had one female, a number of these roles can be cast as gender-neutral. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p style='text-align:justify;text-indent:.5in;line-height:150%'><span style='font-size:11.0pt;line-height:150%;font-family:"Trebuchet MS","sans-serif"'>When a young orphan and his mates are shipped off from Victorian England to a distant island ruled by an evil king, they are unaware of a mysterious trunk filled with an otherworldly precious cargo. At sea, the boys are discovered by a precocious young girl named Molly, a Starcatcher-in-training, who realizes that the trunk’s cargo is starstuff, a celestial substance so powerful that it must never fall into the wrong hands.
