<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">Troy Civic Theatre is currently seeking singers and actors for a special workshop staged reading concert series for
<i>Break: A New Musical</i>. </p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">Written by local playwrighting duo Alec Lewis and Caity Gallagher,
<i>Break: A New Musical</i> is the story of four young children as they come of age, fighting against the injustices of their time, as they try to make sense of a world that is growing stranger to them every day. The actors will have the ability to provide
feedback and to help guide the continued development of this exciting show, as well as to help prepare for the full, world premiere of the full musical theater performance of the show in Winter 2018.*</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">Audition Requirements: Please prepare 16 bars from a contemporary musical that showcases your vocal range for your audition. Cold readings from the script will also be provided.
