<b>Young Adult</b> <b>Event</b>,<b> </b>for playwrights aged 19-25, to its <b>Eighth Annual NEXT ACT! NEW PLAY SUMMIT</b>.<b>

<p class="MsoNormal">The submission process for the Young Adult Event will open on January 1, 2019 and close on February 28, 2019!

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><i>Next Act!</i></b>, now in its eighth year, is an expansion of Capital Repertory Theatre’s (theREP) commitment to the development of new work. At the same time, the weekend long summit is designed to complement the Upper Hudson Valley’s
rich diverse populations. <b><i>Next Act! New Play Summit 8 </i></b>will take place June 7-10, 2019. In addition to the summit’s readings of four never-before produced full-length plays, there are two events for young writers: The Young Adult Event, for burgeoning
playwrights – nationwide – aged 19-25; and the New Voices Event, which features readings of the top ten 10-minute plays from theREP’s local Young Playwright Contest. (For info on the Young Playwright Contest please visit:
