<p class="gmail-m_6141625916360665304yiv8074545970msonormal">Albany Civic Theater is looking for local playwrights for our annual Playwright’s Showcase in July 2019!</p>
<p class="gmail-m_6141625916360665304yiv8074545970msonormal" style="background:white none repeat scroll 0% 0%"><span style="color:rgb(38,40,42)">Submissions for the <b>Playwright’s Showcase </b>should
include a brief synopsis and either a hard copy or online version of an
original work, character breakdown and any
special production needs. We will accept one-act plays or one act of a
longer play. We also reserve the right to feature more than one
original work in the Playwright’s Showcase. </span></p>
<p class="gmail-m_6141625916360665304yiv8074545970msonormal" style="background:white none repeat scroll 0% 0%"><span style="color:rgb(38,40,42)">The
production will include a simple set which is easily assembled and
disassembled. Costumes should be easily appropriated. The Playwright’s
Showcase is usually a staged
reading, rather than a fully realized production.</span></p>

<p class="gmail-m_6141625916360665304yiv8074545970msonormal" style="background:white none repeat scroll 0% 0%"><span style="color:rgb(38,40,42)">1.</span><span style="font-size:7pt;color:rgb(38,40,42)"> </span><span style="color:rgb(38,40,42)">Put your submission in a clean, 8 ½ x 11 inch manila envelope with the words
Playwright’s Showcase clearly printed on it.</span></p>
