<p style="margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Modern Ballet is a genre of dance that incorporates elements of classical ballet and modern dance. It employs classical ballet technique
such as Balanchine and his neoclassical style but allows greater range of movement. Choreographers such as Mark Morris and Twyla Tharp thrived with this style of dance. Class begins with a set modern and ballet warm-up to strengthen and focus the dancer on
the versatility of movement. Through the warm-up, center work and across the floor exercises, students will develop their technique and foundation. Working with both modern and ballet movements in the choreography we will focus on its performance, musicality,
and bringing your own self to the style. The atmosphere is medium paced, positive, professional and challenging, to promote self-confidence, and allow each student to develop their performance skills in an encouraging environment.</span></p>

<p style="margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Class focuses on performance, musicality, and bringing your own self to your work. Class begins with a set modern/funk jazz warm-up, touching
on the styles of Horton, Limon, Luigi, Fosse, Cole-and focuses on a combination of isolations, basic ballet and jazz technique and presentation. Through the warm-up and across the floor exercises, students will develop their technique as a foundation. New
choreography will be taught each class to familiarize students with diverse styles. The atmosphere is fast paced, positive, professional and challenging, to promote self-confidence, and allow each student to develop their performance skills in an encouraging
environment.</span></p>
