<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"> Schuylerville Community Theater announces auditions for their fall production of Ken Ludwig’s MOON OVER BUFFALO, directed by Pat Douglass.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Auditions will be held on Tuesday, August 13th at 7pm at the Town of Saratoga Building on the corner of Routes 29 & 4 in Schuylerville. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">The production will run November 1st, 2nd & 3rd, with rehearsals beginning after Labour Day on Sundays from 12pm-4pm and Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7pm-10pm. All rehearsals and performances will be at the Town Hall.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Set at the Erlanger Theatre, Buffalo, NY in 1953, this fast-paced, madcap comedy features Charlotte and George Hay on tour with a repertory consisting of “Cyrano de Bergerac” and Noël Coward’s “Private Lives”, when they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom: Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee. Slamming doors, misunderstandings, mistaken identities, pratfalls, and plenty of backstage shenanigans lead to a slew of self-obsessed performers desperately trying to keep things from (hilariously) falling apart.</span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">George Hay (M, 50s-60s) a traveling actor with his wife Charlotte. Pompous, can’t accept old age. Strong physical comedy including stage combat.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Charlotte Hay (F, 50s-60s) George’s wife, partner of the stage, drama queen. Physical comedy including stage combat and upper-class British accent.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Ethel (F, late 70’s) Charlotte’s mother. Grumpy, troublemaker, hard of hearing. Strong comedic skills, must command the stage.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Rosalind Hay (F, 20s) Charlotte and George’s daughter. Attractive, struggles with her future, used to act in her parents’ troupe. Upper-class British accent.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Eileen (F, 20s-early 30s) Aspiring actress, eager to please. Has a fling with George.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Howard (M, 20s-early 30s) TV weatherman, Rosalind’s fiancé. Wimpish, nervous. Physical comedy.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Paul (M, 30s) Actor, stage manager of the troupe, used to be Rosalind’s boyfriend. Physical comedy.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Richard (M, 50s) The Hays’ attorney who is in love with Charlotte and always tries to convince her to leave George.</span></p><p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></p>
