<p>Micro-budget, dark comedy feature that will be shot in the Capital Region in July and August is currently looking to cast the following roles:<br /> <br /> AUBREY PERKINS – 14, female: Precocious young woman who lacks the ability or the want to filter anything that comes out of her mouth. She is frank, bordering on mean, with a hardened exterior that acts as a crust to hide her soft, emo, center. Her favorite movie is Empire Records, which she saw once on her parent's unrestricted Netflix account, and her mantra has been “damn the man” ever since.</p>
<p>PETER MARS – 72, male: The once (deep into middle age) alcoholic manager of a college town sub shop now lives with and tends to, his elderly mother. 15 years ago, back in Oswego, some called him a creep, some call him a Lothario, but all called his sandwiches delicious. Nowadays, he can be found in this small, sad home waiting. Waiting for his frail mother to shuffle loose her mortal coil, waiting for his past to come knocking at his door, waiting for BJ and the Bear re-runs to back to his television.</p>
<p>ELDERLY COUPLE – An elderly couple sits side by side in a booth. No one does that anymore. They sip their coffee and eat their dry toast together. Had they gone through a separation? Had one of them been unfaithful many years ago? Were there money issues that drove them apart or was it merely the crushing responsibilities of adulthood that had snuffed out the brilliant burning light that the young have? What brought them back together? Maybe they’ve had nothing short of a miraculously blissful life together over the last fifty years. Maybe.</p>
