THE LINE THAT’S PICKED UP 1000 BABES (AND HOW IT CAN WORK FOR YOU!)
Written by Eric Berlin
Directed by Alexander Nelson

Berlin takes six very different young men and women plunks them down in
an 80s singles bar and then turns up the heat: Benny, who uses a
guidebook to pick up women; Alan, who thinks he's too sincere to be in a
singles bar; Charlie, who is looking to get over a bad relationship;
Ellen, a regular on the club scene, who is trying to convince her
friend, Fran, that bars are an acceptable place to meet men; and Diane,
who clearly has her own agenda. Through their longing and hilarious,
though sometimes painful, attempts to connect with one another, Berlin
manages to remind us of how difficult it can be find a mate.

THE NATURE AND PURPOSE OF THE UNIVERSE
Written by Christopher Durang
Directed by Bob Fishel

Eleanor Mann is a miserably unhappy housewife in New Jersey. Her three
sons are disgraces, her religious fanatic husband beats her, and her
vacuum cleaner doesn’t work. In a dark comedy homage to the Book of Job
in the Bible, Ronald and Elaine are two angels sent down by God to push
the poor woman over the edge. Surrounded by tormentors, and caught up in
a harebrained scheme to assassinate the Pope, will Eleanor ever find
salvation?

THE MYSTERY AT TWICKNAM VICARAGE
Written by David Ives
Directed by Samantha Malanche

A body on the carpet, three ridiculous Masterpiece Theatre-style
suspects and a bumbling Scotland Yard detective solve philosophical
quandaries as they investigate who killed Jeremy Thumpington-Fffienes
(pronounced "Fuh-Fuh-Fines")? The author, David Ives, mercilessly spoofs
upper-class British twits and mystery conventions. Everyone onstage has
slept with everyone else, man or woman. The corpse turns out to have
been not only bisexual, but trisexual, eagerly copulating with sofa and
rug when there's nothing more animate handy.
