S.T.A.R. (Summer Theatre At the Rep)

For Ages 12-18

At S.T.A.R., a company of theatre students will create and perform their own
theatre production, while taking classes in acting, music, dance, set
design, and costume design! This summer's theme: The Shakespearience!
Students will work with theatre professionals and perform their show on
Capital Rep's stage.

 

Dates: July 9 - August 10, 2007 and Performances August 10-12, 2007

            9 AM - 4 PM (Drop off 8:30 am and Pick-up 4:30 pm)

Location: Capital Repertory Theatre, 111 N. Pearl St.  Albany, NY 12207

Tuition: $875.00 (Need-based Tuition Assistance available.  Please call ASAP
as its given on a first come first serve basis).

STAR-Lite

For Ages 8-12

STAR-Lite Albany gives young artists the chance to create art through
theatre, music, movement and visual art, in response to their explorations
of the city of Albany through short field trips near The Egg, including a
trip on the Albany Aqua Duck.


Dates: June 25 - 29, 2007

            9 am - 4 am (Drop-off 8:45 am and Pick-up 4:15 pm)

Location: The Egg, Empire State Plaza

Tuition: $175 includes field trips and materials. (Need-based Tuition
Assistance available.  Please call ASAP as its given on a first come first
serve basis).
