Sean Reed

Thursday March 28 - Saturday March 31
Continuously running 12:30 - 5 pm every day
Greene Building (Architecture), Greene Gallery, 2nd Floor
Reception with the artist: 6 - 8 pm, Thursday, March 29

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institutes’s Experimental Media and Performing
Arts Center (EMPAC) presents Bedlam, a unique audio and video
installation by international artists Robert Darroll and Sean Reed.
Bedlam will be open to the public and run continuously every day from
12:30 - 5 pm in Rensselaer’s Greene Building from March 28 - 31st.
There will be a special public reception in the Greene Gallery with
one of the artists, Sean Reed, on Thursday March 29th from 6 - 9 pm.

Originally the name for a medieval England insane asylum, Bedlam has
since become a synonym for tangled, chaotic states. This installation
draws us into the minds of five individuals planning their joint
escape from Bedlam with multichannel sound and an amalgam of computer
graphics, animation and video projected onto five oversized screens.

Admission to this installation is free and open to the public.
Parking will be available in metered spaces and at the Visitor
Information Center. There will be signs to direct you to the event.

Additional information may be found on the EMPAC website, http://
