ALBANY - The Mop & Bucket Company presents an entertaining, high-energy evening
of improvised theatre at the eclectic Coffee Planet March 31, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.
Performers create complete improvised scenes, stories, games, and songs, all
based on audience suggestions, often involving audience members onstage.

“I have the utmost admiration and appreciation for what you do,” Kay
Horstmann-Panke, an audience member, said at a performance. “Keep putting
yourselves out there and keep making others laugh.”

Another audience member, Sharon Varney, said "Talk about thinking on your feet --
really funny stuff."

The Mop & Bucket Company (MopCo) is the Capital Region’s premiere improvisational
theatre company, dedicated to creating spontaneous, one-of-a-kind entertainment
for audiences of all kinds. Known for its eclectic mix of short and long form
improv, MopCo performs both tried-and-true formats like Theatresports ™ (improv
as a competitive sport) and Spontaneous Broadway (full-length improvised
musicals), and original formats like Tapestry (free-form theatrical Jazz) and Our
Town Today (community-based improv that explores current events and issues).
MopCo’s performers, in addition to being professional actors and improvisers, are
renowned teachers, consultants, directors and playwrights.
