Confetti Stage Kicks off the Spring with Family Series Bridge to Terabithia

Confetti Stage springs into April with Bridge to Terabithia, written by Katherine Paterson and Stephanie Tolan and based upon the Young Adult Newberry Medal Winning Novel of the same title. Performances are April 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th, & 12th at 7:30pm and April 6th & 13th at 2pm at the Albany Masonic Hall located at 67 Corning Place in Albany, New York. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. Tickets are now available and can be purchased online at www.confettistage.com or by phone at our box office number at 518-242-8015.

The story centers on Jesse and Leslie, two fifth graders who are very different from the other children at school. Jesse is considered weird among his classmates, because he enjoys things such as running and painting. These hobbies allow him his means of escape from a very ordinary existence. When Leslie Burke, who is quickly viewed as an outsider among her peers, moves in next door to Jesse, they immediately become best friends and create an imaginary world all their own called Terabithia. Leslie and Jesse are crowned Queen and King of Terabithia, and rule over its inhabitants with grace and style as only outcasts can. Suddenly fate and tragedy befalls them, leaving Jesse alone to find a way to bring the magic back to Terabithia.
