The Schenectady Light Opera Co.(SLOC) announces the opening of it's 82nd  musical season with "Thoroughly Modern Millie."  Good seats are still available!!

PRODUCTION DATES: Oct. 3,4,10,11, 2008 at 8pm
                  Oct. 4,5,11,12, 2008 at 2pm

"Would be flapper, Millie Dillmount, arrives in NYC during the roaring twenties with the ambition of getting a secretarial job with a rich handsome boss whom she'll marry. But instead she falls for the penniless Jimmy Smith & after a series of adventures including the uncovering of a white slavery operation run by her landlady, Mrs. Meers, Millie forsakes her employer Trevor Graydon & accepts Jimmy who turns out to be an heir in disguise." 

This Comedy won the 2002 Tony Award for Best Musical.
