SLOC Musical Theater is extremely proud to present their third show of their 82nd season, 
Jacques Brel is Alive and Well & Living in Paris from January 9-18, 2009!
 
This show is based on the songs of Belgian songwriter Jacques Brel, who has over 300 songs in his catalogue. First written in French, the songs were translated into English and presented as this riveting show, which ran Off Broadway for over 1800 performances. 
This show is an itense musical experience, which features an ensemble of four vocalists spinning Brel's magnificent wonderment of European Sophistication.
 
Appearing in SLOC's production are veteran vocalists
Richard Satterlee Jr., Robert Rice, Nancy Carlson Stone, and Deborah Rocco, all with an eclectic array of experience in concert halls, cabarets, operas and musical theater.
 
SLOC first presented Jacques Brel in 1972 as its premiere production, and promises that this evening is sure to delight audiences of all ages.
Performances are January 9-11, 2009 and January 15-18, 2009 at the Opera House, 826 State Street. 
Performances are Thursday through Saturday 8:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM.
