Laughter and romance awaits you inside the Stage Door, where you can peer inside the Footlights Club, a NYC boarding house and follow the dreams of the young, aspiring actresses who have come to study acting, and where every phone call could mean a job.  Set in post-Depression 1930's New York City, it is the tale of the show that closes early, of talent unrecognized, and the attraction of motion pictures and fast money.  The fast-paced, witty humor of the script shows both the light and dark sides of a nostalgic time in American history.

"Stage Door"  subsequently became a popular movie of the same name starring Katherine Hepburn, Adolph Menjou, Ginger Rogers, Lucille Ball, Eve Arden and Ann Miller.
