The Diary of Anne Frank closes this weekend!! Don't miss the opportunity to
see such an amazing show. The house has been continually brought to tears!
Saturday, the 15th at 8pm and Sunday the 16th at 4:30.
It's at the Albany JCC on Whitehall Road. Tickets for students and seniors
are $10 and for adults it's $12. The show is spectacular and a must-see.
It's a drama.
The story of a young girl who is full of hope under unimaginable
circumstances…She tells her story and shares her diary. The girl who wrote
of the 25 months she had been hidden until her family's capture and
separation. Experience the emotions of the insightful young girl who is just
beginning her womanhood. Aspects of her character in some detail such as her
imagination, lively and spirited nature, love, compassion, ambition and
courage. The drama tells how Anne Frank, her family, the Van Daans and
another man, Mr. Dussel, survived the hardships of living in a secret attic
hidden from the Nazis for over two years. Life in the attic is nearly
unbearable for Anne, a high-spirited teenager, who is still discovering who
she really is herself. The play highlights the quarrels and the fun, the
despair and the optimism of three families staying in a confined space
until...
The show goes to many levels and spectacular things are done. Amazing
effects and extra aspects as well.
