Not So Common Players 
in cooperation with
The Clifton Park/Halfmoon Library 
present
"Books on Broadway" 
Sunday March 30th-2:00pm
 
Clifton Park:  A celebration of music inspired by classic literature,
featuring music from Broadway shows will be held March 30th at 2:00 pm
at the Clifton Park/Halfmoon Library.  Admission is FREE.
 
Marty Egan and Jennifer Bullington have created the musical revue in
response to contact from the library to be a part of their current Adult
Reading Series. Mr. Egan wrote the narration to connect the music to the
books that inspired many Broadway shows.  Selections from: Ragtime,
Oliver, Jekyll & Hyde, Les Miserables, Wicked, Scarlet Pimpernel, Man of
LaMancha, Secret Garden and Jane Eyre will be featured.
 
Not So Common Players veterans and others including: Jennifer
Bullington, Dennis Chmura, Nicole Galligan, Adrien Gleason, Karen
Kolterman, Michael Lotano and Molly McGrath will offer their
interpretations of  songs from these rousing shows.  Steve Frenchak and
Sally Burke narrate. And a special guest appearance by the Clifton Park
Town Supervisor, Philip Barrett puts the gilt on the pages!   Musical
accompaniment by Dian Dippold and Sal Viola.
