cast for 'Crossing the Blue Line'

JOHNSTOWN ---- Director Leta Aldous announced the cast for the staged
reading of "Crossing the Blue Line," which Theatre Workshop will present in
March at Colonial Little Theatre.

The show will be presented March 6 and 7 at 8 p.m. at the 1
Colonial Court playhouse. Admission will be by donations. Reservations not
required. For further information: Leta Aldous, (518) 725-7274,

Written by Philip Potak of Jefferson, NY, the two-act
comedy/drama takes place at an Adirondack hunting camp during a snow storm.
A stranger, Edgar Harrington, appears at the camp and takes the four
multi-generational hunters by surprise. He is not who he appears to be, but
then the tables are turned.

            The cast includes:

Bob Scheldt --- as Stu, 50s, nostalgic and fretful, a victim of
high blood pressure, and perpetrator of bad puns.

Bob Schultz ---- Riley, sixty something but not old in his
temperament. Originally from New England, he has resided in the upstate New
York town of Arcadis for more than 40 years.

Alan Johnson ---- Earl, mid-30s, originally from Long Island but
has lived in Arcadis for more than half his life.

Marc Andrzejewski ---- Tommy, 17, quiet and low-keyed, but
always seems to be listening.

Barry Streifert ---- Edgar Harrington, mid- 40s,
smartly-dressed, city-bred writer with an English accent.

Lighting will be by Merrill Frye.

Theatre Workshop, the CLT playwrights group, was organized to
develop new scripts for presentation as staged readings at Colonial Little
Theatre, and to raise funds for the theatre's capital campaign.
