[Capdist-announce] "The Sky is Falling" premier June 12-14

The Sky is Falling, "a comic fable for our times" is being presented on Fri.
& Sat. June 12 & 13 at 7pm and Sun. June 14 at 2pm at the The Arts Center of
the Capital Region. Written, directed and produced by Barbara Leavell Smith,
this family-friendly one-act play for kids 8-80 is sponsored by the Sand
Lake Center for the Arts ( <http://slca-ctp.org/> slca-ctp.org).  Tickets
are $10 grown-ups and $5 kids under 18. For information and reservations

 "What if Chicken Little were right after all?" is the question in this
loony tune high energy, mission impossible urgency, bumbling villains,
vulnerable heroes- 21st century take on the old folktale.  The answer- a
romping, galloping, stumbling quest to save the world. The Arts Center of
the Capital Region is located at River St. on Monument Square in downtown
Troy.

Starring many of Circle Theatre Players area actors the cast includes:
Brigid Lynch-Stegemoeller as Chicken Little, with Peter Keller and Katie
Macari as Lucky Ducky and Henny Penny, Allan Randall as dr. Owl, Ralph
Huntington as Foxy Loxy and Bill Douglas as 'The secretary'.
