[Capdist-announce] [Capdist-auditions] Correction to Eugene's Services and Funeral

I have known Eugene for many years from the time of my first performance
with the Players in the early 90's and have had the pleasure in to be on
stage opposite him in productions with various producing groups. 

 

Though I hadn't seen him a quite a while, ironically, I ran into Eugene
about 2 weeks ago.  He was his usually joyous funny energetic self.

 

He will be GREATLY missed by ALL who knew him.

 

My condolences go to his mother!

 

And what a great idea .. The fund in Eugene's name!!!

Please note that the church information shared last night was incorrect.
Eugene's funeral will be from St. Nicholas Orthodox Church located at 67
Saratoga St, Cohoes, NY between Ontario Street and the end of 787.

 

Also an account will be opened later today at the Trustco Bank in Latham for
anyone who would like to contribute.  The account will be for either
Eugene's Mom's use or to establish a theater related memorial fund in
Eugene's name.

 

 


Eugene W. Kosarovich


, Eugene W. COHOES, N.Y. Eugene W. Kosarovich died Sunday, October 4, 2009.
Born in Niskayuna, he had lived in Cohoes all his life and was the son of
Agnes Samaniuk Kosarovich and the late Eugene Kosarovich. He graduated from
Cohoes High School, receiving an award for 17 years of perfect attendance.
He graduated from RPI with a degree in electrical engineering. He had worked
at GE as an engineer and later started his own company, Scorpio Productions,
which was a video production service. Eugene loved the theater, he had acted
and produced many plays and had appeared with the RPI Players and several
local acting groups. He was an avid skier. He belonged to St. Nicholas
Orthodox Church. Survivors in addition to his mother include several aunts,
uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
from the Marra Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. from St. Nicholas Orthodox
Church, Cohoes. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Bought Corners.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Parastas services will
be conducted Tuesday at 6 p.m. Those who wish, may make donations in
Eugene's memory to St. Nicholas Church Special Fund or the Mohawk Hudson
River Humane Society.
