Hood opens this weekend! 

Ric Chesser wrote and directs this olden tale of English justice. with some
Steamer twists. Robin and his Merry Men square off against the Sheriff to
save Marion, but with faeries meddling in the middle, who knows what will
happen! There will be performances on Saturday (10/31) and Sunday (11/1) at
3 pm, as well as an 11 am performance on Sunday.

Hood will continue through November 15th. As a special treat we'll have a
free box of popcorn for anyone who wears their Halloween costume to a
performance this weekend! 

 

Audition for  <http://steamer10theatre.org/Pages/TheWizardofOz.htm> The
Wizard of Oz!

     Our C.A.S.T. <http://steamer10theatre.org/Pages/CAST.htm>  program will
be performing The Wizard of Oz this spring, so we're holding auditions on
Tuesday, November 17th, 6-8 pm. This production is for ages 8-18 only, and
all roles are open. For more information go to our

     Saturday, November 7th will be a busy day at Steamer No. 10. In
addition to Robin Hood, we'll be holding an honorary reception at 6 pm to
say "thank you" to Assemblyman John
<http://assembly.state.ny.us/mem/?ad=104&submit=Go>  J. McEneny. He has been
a friend and an advocate for the arts, and for Steamer No. 10 Theatre in
particular, for years. We hope you will all stop by to help us thank him for
his efforts on our behalf. 

     At 7 pm that very same evening, there will also be three fantastic and
fun-filled musical performances at the theater. The Ramblin' Jug Stompers
<http://www.jugstompers.com/> , Cavanaugh  <http://www.cavandkav.com/> &
Kavanaugh, and Mitch Elrod <http://www.mitchelrod.com/>  have all donated
their time and musical skills to play for the evening to help us raise some
much needed money to keep our theater running throughout the season. 

     The cost for the reception and concert is $25, and all proceeds will go
towards our ongoing mission to produce affordable entertainment for the
whole family in the Capital Region while encouraging the next generation to
take an active role in the arts.

     While we're on the topic of money, we want to remind you of two more

Compare that to buying tickets at the door for $12 each. And by purchasing
early you are helping us pay the expenses involved in producing a show, most
