NYSTI is currently accepting applications for its 2010-2011 Internship Program.

High school seniors, college and graduate students in good standing are eligible and invited to apply.  (An intern application form is available on our website at www.nysti.org).  Please note application deadline of June 1, 2010.

For over three decades, the New York State Theatre Institute (NYSTI) has offered a truly unique academic experience for students interested in theatre careers through its Internship Program.  Since 1976, over 1500 high school and college students have had the opportunity to study and work with NYSTI, affording future theatre practitioners a real-life experience working in a professional theatre company.  NYSTI interns have continued their studies at fine universities and progressed to Broadway, national tours, other professional theatres, television and film.  For the serious theatre student as well as those contemplating this highly competitive field, it has proven to be an invaluable experience.
