[Capdist-announce] Ventriloquist, Sylvia Markson, to perform at SLCA - Sept. 5

[Sand Lake Center for the Arts]

On Sun., Sept. 5 join in the fun at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts for a variety show by renowned ventriloquist, Sylvia Markson as she dazzles you with her amazing talent, charismatic singing and voice illusions. The show begins at 1:30pm and is followed by a puppet-making workshop, with materials provided where a small hand puppet can be created. This family oriented event is sponsored by the SLCA's  Sundays at the Center and the Youth Dept. of the Town of Poestenkill. Sand Lake Center for the Arts - Circle Theatre Players,
is a not for profit community arts center
The Center is a renovated, historically significant 1835 church
with a fully equipped open performing space for theatrical productions, 
community meetings, concerts, workshops and classes; and is available for rent.
The light-filled Gallery boasts original stained glass windows 
and exhibits artists' work throughout the year. 
The Gallery and Cafe are open one hour prior to events.
Volunteer opportunities abound and can be yours by contacting 
Executive Director, Debra Roy at info at slca-ctp.org. 

The Center is air conditioned, handicapped accessible and has free parking.
