[Capdist-announce] John Denver tribute shows

The Rocky Mountain Choir, which consists of Michele Pawlaczyk, Laura Andruski, Lisa Weiderman, and Amy and John Birchler, will perform three 2-hour concerts of John Denver songs in July.  Here are the salient details:
Thursday, July 22, at 8 p.m.: the Moon and River Cafe on S. Ferry St. in Schenectady's Stockade District;
Friday, July 25, at 5 p.m.: the Northville Waterfront Park, Main St., Northville; and
Thursday, July 29, at 7 p.m.: Groom's Tavern, at the intersection of Grooms Road and Sugarhill Road in Clifton Park
The members of the Rocky Mountain Choir were all members of the cast of a production of Almost Heaven: John Denver's America at the Colonial Little Theatre in Johnstown in April 2009.
Songs include many of Denver's hits and several surprises.
Admission for all shows is free.
