‘Rantz and Raves’
WAM Theatre Fundraiser, Saturday, June 5th 7:00-8:00pm, Flavour Café, Troy,
NY

OOBR Award winning, NYC based actor Richard Hoehler & WAM Theatre
co-Artistic Director Leigh Strimbeck join together to read their work.
Richard is reading from POEMZ; Leigh is reading from her work in progress
MMM: Motherhood, Marriage & Midlife.
A hat will be passed for WAM Theatre at the event. All proceeds to go
towards WAM Theatre’s November 2010 production of Sarah Ruhl’s ‘Melancholy
Play’, where The Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts has been chosen as
the beneficiary.

‘Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide’ by
Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl Wudunn, WAM Theatre was founded in 2009 by
professional theatre artists Kristen van Ginhoven and Leigh Strimbeck. WAM’s
philanthropic mission is two-fold. First, to create professional theatrical
events by, with, for and about women and girls. Second, to donate a portion
of the proceeds from those events to organizations that benefit women and
