Confetti Stage receives top number of Achievement Awards from the Theatre Association of New York State for 2010!
Confetti Stage, Inc, Award Winning Theatre Without Limits, returned last night from the Theatre Association of New York State’s (TANYS) 2010 Festival in Batavia, NY, having earned the most 2010 Achievement Awards (total of 27 Achievement Awards) out of the 80+ TANYS member companies. Confetti Stage also performed the short play, Holy Night, by Rensselaer County resident, Diane M. Doring as part of the TANYS Festival.
The company receiving the next highest number of Achievement Awards was also from the Capital Region. The Spotlight Players of East Greenbush, NY received 25 Achievement Awards
Congratulations to the cast and crew of Holy Night and ALL of the TANYS Achievement Award Winners throughout New York State.

About Confetti Stage: Confetti Stage was incorporated in 2004 and produced its inaugural production, ‘night, Mother, by Marsha Norman in January 2005. Since then, the company has become a stable performing arts group in the Albany area, performing in several Capital Region communities, Glens Falls, and as far away as Batavia, NY as part of the 2010 TANYS Festival. Confetti Stage prides itself on bringing quality performances to its community and allowing artists to expand their talents while collaborating to bring about a final product. Confetti Stage offers 4 to 6 productions each year, as well as the Confetti Fest, a local Short Play and Film Festival. Confetti Stage is a proud member of the American Association of Community Theatre and the Theatre Association of New York State, from which it has earned 27 Achievement Awards for 2010.
