Colonial Little Theatre posts dates for New Play Festival

JOHNSTOWN ---- Theatre Workshop, the Colonial Little Theatre playwrights group, has announced the production dates for its 2010 New Play Festival of staged readings.

An evening of short plays by area authors will be presented Friday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. at the 1 Colonial Court, Johnstown theatre. A full-length play will be presented at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 19 and 20.

The short plays are:

"The Letter Tree" by Jill Sprotbery, Agnes E. Kapusta-Skiff, director.

"The Holy Father Saves the Day" by Ron Frankel, Tim Orcutt, director.

"The Thirty-Ninth Year" by Anita Hanaburgh," Tim Orcutt, director, and

"The Waver" by Anthony R. Pezzula, Tim Orcutt, director.

The full-length play:

"Hurricane Gin" by Carl Ritchie," Leta Aldous, director.

Reservations are not required. Admission will be by donation.
