Acting: This class focuses on establishing the "building blocks" of acting with which the students can begin analyzing text and creating characters. Students may write or create their own scenes or perform monologues or scenes from popular shows for their end of the week performance.

Singing: Using a variety of exercises, students will begin exploring their own musicality and rhythm. Emphasis will be placed on ear training and breath support. Musical instruments may be used to teach rhythm. Students will work with musical tracks from popular musicals to learn a song for their performance at the end of the week.

Theater Dance/Movement: Younger students will be taught to utilize their bodies while developing their imagination and focus. Older students will be provided with a working knowledge of the essential elements involved in dance for the theater. Styles may include jazz, ballet and hip-hop.

Production Class: Students will rehearse scenes and musical numbers to be performed on Friday as part of a showcase. Elements from all other classes will be incorporated into each production.
