The Pride Center of the Capital Region, in cooperation with the Theater
Institute at Sage, is pleased to present, as an *Official Capital Pride 2011
* event, a staged reading of Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's hit romantic comedy*Based
on a Totally True Story *on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 7pm. The performance
will be held at the James L. Meader Little Theater on the Russel Sage Campus
in Troy.

*“Based on a Totally True Story” is Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s lightning fast
gay romantic comedy for the i-phone generation. For playwright and comic
book writer Ethan Keane (Ian LaChance) adapting the play he wrote into a
movie starring Nicole Kidman should be the best thing that’s ever happened
to him. So why is everything else in his life falling apart around him?
Aaron Holbritter directs this hilarious and surprisingly touching
fully-staged play reading. Co-sponsored by the Theater Institute at Sage.

*The James L. Meader Little Theater is located on the campus of Russell Sage
College. The theater can be easily accessed from 1st Street, between
Congress and Division, or from Division between First and River. Volunteers
will be on  hand to assist. Seating is limited.*
