The Schenectady  Theater for Children Presents!...... 
Yes You Can… Be a  Comedian!   
 
Here is  the chance you have been waiting and asking for!   Become the 
funniest person on the  block!! 
*In this  course you will learn about punch lines and prat falls.   
* You will  learn about the essence of comedy - what makes something  funny 
* You will  learn the standards of slapstick comedy including pie fights 
and rubber  chickens 
*You will  explore stand-up and stock characters 
* And…we all  will end up with a performance for friends and family 
featuring our funny  frolics. 
**All  sessions will be held in the STC Studio  at  the   
Rotterdam  Square Mall…. 
next door  to the Sears concourse entrance  
For ages 8 to  14 
Dates: Saturdays: July  9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th 
Time:   9:30 til 11:00  am 
Students  will need to bring their    
own  snack! 
Performance: 
Saturday   August  6th         
Time TBA 
Cost:  $150.00  per student  for the entire program  .   
Space is limited

for Children,  or working at the Costumer,  Scott Payne can be found teaching 
classes  at the Helderberg Workshops. Otherwise, he can be found appearing 
and  disappearing all over the capital district as the comedic magician, 
Merdwin  the  Mediocre.
