Circle Theatre Players presents Sarah, Plain and Tall, the play with music for all ages, adapted from the Newbury award-winning book by Joseph Robinette. Directed by CarolLynn Langley, this is the story of spinster Sarah Wheaton who travels from Maine to Kansas at the turn of the 19th century in response to a newspaper advertisement submitted by widower, Jacob Witten. With the death of his wife shortly after the birth of their second child, music disappeared from the lives of the Witten family and life became a struggle on their prairie farm. Jacob hopes that Sarah will become the wife and mother who will restore joy to the household.

Production is March 25, 26, April 1 & 2 at 8pm and March 27 & April 3 at 2:30pm. Tickets are $16 for adults and $10 for under 18. The Sand Lake Center for the Arts is located at 2880 NY 43, one half mile east of the blinking light in Averill Park, NY. There is plenty of free parking..
