The Sand Lake Center for the Arts presents Thomasina Winslow in concert on
Sat., May 21 at 8pm.
Thomasina Winslow is an Acoustic (Country) Blues artist born and raised in
the Hudson Valley Region of New York State with her musical family She
conducts residencies on of her Culture and Heritage in the Arts program in
schools in her region, nationally, and internationally. Thomasina has
caused a stir in the Acoustic Blues market with her Featured you tube video
of the song "Rowdy Blues" in a Duet with the legendary Nick Katzman and has
released her new album with Nick Katzman called "First Things First."
"Thomasina Winslow's unique blues path winds through Delta roadhouses,
coffeehouse stages where singer/songwriters flourish, and then into the
church pew where blues lovers seek the light on Sunday morning. One gets the
impression that the stage is a second home for her, and like a good hostess
she puts her guests at ease and sends them home enriched and fulfilled."
