hubbard hall offering one-day musical theater dance workshop

(Cambridge, NY October 17, 2011) The Hubbard Hall Dance and Movement Program is excited to offer a special one-day dance workshop for theater and musical theater enthusiasts! In these intensive Musical Theater dance workshops, students will learn choreography to one or more numbers from an age-appropriate Broadway musical. Use your dance skills to tell a story and develop new acting skills as you go! As you become familiar with the musical theater style and even a particular show, this may even give you an edge should you choose to audition for a production of it in the future!

The workshop is taught by Rosie Spring who has been seen dancing and singing across the country on the national tours of 42nd Street and A Christmas Carole. Recently, she danced the title role in the New York State Theatre Institute production of Sleeping Beauty and performed a cabaret at the Fort Salem Theater with her husband Rob. An NYU graduate, Rosie teaches dance and private voice in Saratoga and Glens Falls and choreographs musicals all over the Capital Region.
