The younger generation challenges the lifestyle and values of this socially
elite Upstate New York family as they prepare for a family wedding in a not
so traditional setting. Curtis, the father of the bridegroom wants to
uphold the traditions of the past. The “non-traditional” bride has her own
ideas. Cultures clash when a surprise guest is announced, threatening to
throw convention out the window. Conflicts develop, secrets are revealed
and warmth and humor prevail.

The Director of BLACK TIE is Judy Spevack whose previous work at Theater
Voices includes directing several productions, most recently THE COCKTAIL
HOUR-also by A.R. Gurney, and acting in many more.

The cast includes Charles Fitz-Gerald, Jon South, Katherine Ambrozio, Beth
Pietrangelo, and Paul Dederick.
