New York City Ballet Dancers to Sign Autographs at the National Museum of
Dance
 
Come meet some of the wonderful dancers from New York City Ballet! On
Saturday, July 14 at 4:00 pm, the National Museum of Dance will be hosting
an autograph signing and meet and greet with Wendy Whelan, Sara Mearns,
Megan Fairchild, and Amar Ramasar. New York City Ballet Photographed Paul
Kolnik will also be available to meet at the event. A limited number of
headshots of the dancers will be available to have autographed. Guests are
welcome to bring personal memorabilia to have signed.
 
Principal Dancer Wendy Whelan is one of the five ballerinas showcased in En
Pointe!, one of the Museum¹s exhibits that opened this March. When
interviewed by the Museum about dancing on pointe, she said ³it¹s absolute
magicŠ and it feels like nothing else in the world.² That¹s how we feel when
we watch the dancers of NYCB on stage! Don¹t miss your chance to meet Wendy
and the other dancers at the Museum.
 
The New York City Ballet comes to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, their
summer home, for two weeks in July.
 
The autograph signing is free and open to the public. The signing will take
place in the En Pointe! exhibit. Most of the museum exhibits will be open to
