Curtain Call Theatre presents...

Announcing our 2012-13 SEASON!

CRIMES OF THE HEART by Beth Henley
(Sept. 7--Oct. 6, 2012)
Three eccentric sisters confront life head-on in this hilarious
and heartbreaking family drama. Winner of both the Pulitzer
Prize and the Drama Critics Circle Award, Crimes has joined the
canon of great American plays.
"Sugar and spice and every known vice" TIME Magazine

OPUS by Michael Hollinger
(Regional Premiere, Oct. 19--Nov. 17, 2012)
This is the story of a world-renowned string quartet who must
learn Beethoven's difficult masterpiece, Opus 131, for a White
House concert. Passions collide and reach a crescendo in an
elegant, provocative play, as rich and powerful as its music.
The New York Times called this, "An absorbing new play,
thoroughly entertaining."

DING DONG by Marc Camoletti
(Regional Premiere, Nov. 30--Dec. 23, 2012)
This wildly funny comedy is a holiday treat filled with nonstop
laughter. Ding Dong is a whirlwind farce that is going to be an
affair - or three - to remember. Camoletti, also known for Don't
Dress for Dinner and Boeing Boeing, will once again leave the
audience rolling in the aisles.

DRACULA by Steven Dietz
(January 11 - February 9, 2013)
Bloodthirsty, lustful and evil incarnate, but above all - a
gentleman. The Count journeys from his gloomy Transylvanian
castle to the bustling streets of London, leaving death and
destruction in his seductive wake. This is a darkly passionate
and hauntingly lush adaptation of Bram Stoker's 1897 novel.

THESE SHINING LIVES by Melanie Marnich
(Regional Premiere, Feb. 22 - Mar. 23, 2013)
The lives of women working in a 1920's radium watch dial factory
are explored in this true story of survival within a system more
concerned with profit than safety.
"Perfect, touching and wistful...beautifully tragic." Variety

OUR SON'S WEDDING by Donna De Matteo
(Capital District Premiere, April 5 - May 11, 2013)
Love and marriage Italian-style: an Italian-American plumber and
his wife arrive at their son's wedding to another man.
Complications erupt in a humorous story of a family that needs
to let go of the past and forge a new future together.

TBA
(May 24 - June 22, 2013)
We are currently considering a number of plays well worth the
wait, sure to add to your theatrical experience with us this
season. This selection will be announced early next winter.

LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron
(Regional Premiere, July 12 - August 10, 2013)
This comic gem has been the toast of New York since opening Off
-Broadway in 2009. Five actresses present 28 hilarious and
poignant vignettes about life's journey and the clothes they
wore along the way. With a message that goes straight to the
heart of all women (and the men who love them), fun comes as one
size fits all.
