Davy Sturtevant presents Dis-Ease: A Coming Out
Friday, November 9 at 1 pm* & 8 pm
Suggested Donation: $15*
Part of our Eclectic Performance Series.
Singer/Songwriter Davy Sturtevant's one-man show recounts his ups and downs
as he grew to understand his condition of bipolar disorder. During this
humorous and compelling story Sturtevant guides us through a decade of his
own life, weaving a tale of confusion, loss, and joyful growth. Davy
accompanies himself on banjo, mandolin, and an assortment of guitars,
incorporating a variety of musical styles from traditional and popular
music.
*Proceeds will be distibuted among non-profit mental health agencies in the
Capitol Region. Doors open at 12:15 for the midday 1pm performance and a
complimentary light lunch will be served prior to the curtain. The evening
performance begins at 8pm with doors opening at 7:30 for general and
reserved seating.
Asili & Vaccaro present NOCHE FLAMENCA
Featuring Flamenco Dancer April Goltz and Tabla Player Devesh Chandra.

Vocalist Taína Asili will come together with guitarist Gaetano Vaccaro,
Indian tabla percussionist Devesh Chandra and Albuquerque, NM based flamenco
dancer April Goltz for Noche Flamenca, a powerful performance of Spanish
flamenco blended with classical Indian percussion. Asili, Vaccaro & Goltz
performed for a sold out audience at Steamer No. 10 last January, so get
your tickets today!
Tickets are $15 at the door, $13 if purchased at least a day in advance.
Treasure Island on a 3 Day Weekend!
Saturdays and Sundays, November 10, 11, 17, 18 at 3 pm
Monday, November 12 at 10 am & 1 pm. Part of our Kids Fare Series.
Set a course for adventure with Robert Louis Stevensons Treasure Island, a
swash-buckling adventure on the high seas with treason, treachery, pirates
and treasure! It all begins when an old seaman comes to stay at the Admiral
Benbow Tavern, an inn run by the family of young Jim Hawkins. One night
pirates storm the tavern, and Jim comes into possession of a treasure map!
Jim will have to outwit the wily pirate Long John Silver if he wants to find
Captain Flint's buried treasure and stay alive long enough to enjoy it
The
cast includes Ryan Palmer, Charity Buckbee, Ted DeBonis, and Miles Keefe.
