 The Highlight Acting Troupe will be
presenting The Christmas Carol adapted by Harold G. Slyker and directed by Ron
and Ethel LeVan.  Show dates are Friday
and Saturday, Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 7 and 8, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, Dec. 9 at 2
pm.  The performances will take place at
the Brunswick Grange, Rt. 7 and Rt. 142 (next to Stewart’s).  Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for
seniors and students 12 and under.
 Miser Ebenezer Scrooge is awakened on Christmas Eve by
spirits who reveal to him his own miserable existence, what opportunities he
wasted in his youth, his current cruelties, and the dire fate that awaits him
if he does not change his ways. Scrooge is faced with his own story of growing
bitterness and meanness, and must decide what his own future will hold: death
or redemption.
We will be collecting nonperishable food items for the local
food pantry.  Anyone who brings a food
item will be given a chance to win a Christmas wreath which will be given away
at each performance.  For reservations or
