Tonight, Friday, and Saturday Mostly Harmless Productions presents

"You Know I Can't Hear You When the Water’s Running"
by Robert Anderson
Directed by Shera Dawn

The third production of the inaugural season of Mostly Harmless is the
hit Broadway comedy
You Know I Can’t Hear You When the Water’s Running.

This rarely produced show is a collection of four one-act comedies in
which writer Robert Anderson famously
handled the topic of sex with skill and taste, producing hilarious results.

In The Shock of Recognition, a playwright and a begrudging producer
argue over nudity in an upcoming
show, when they are joined by an overeager actor who is more than
willing to show his stuff.
The Footsteps of Doves focuses on Harriet and George, a married couple
shopping for twin beds after many
years of marriage.
In I'll Be Home for Christmas, Edith and her husband Chuck lock horns
over how much sex-education to
give their almost adult children.
I'm Herbert is a scattered conversation between Herbert and Muriel, an
elderly couple with memory
problems who try in vain to recall their earlier relationships, what
they've done with who, and even who
they are talking to.

Collectively this warm-hearted quartet of amusing short plays is
designed to captivate the audience with its universal
appeal.
