PRIZE WINNING "SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE"
OPENS FRIDAY, MAY 3 AT SCHENECTADY CIVIC PLAYERS
SCHENECTADY - Sunday in the Park with George, the Pulitzer Prize winning musical by Stephen Sondheim (music & lyrics) and James Lapine (book), opens Friday May 3, and runs through Sunday, May 12, at Schenectady Civic Players' 12 South Church Street playhouse in Schenectady's historic Stockade district.
The production, directed by Duncan Morrison. with musical direction by Valerie A. Lord, is the fifth, and final, main-stage production of Schenectady Civic Player's 85th season.

Inspired by Georges Seurat's famous painting, "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte", this Sondheim/Lapine musical is one of the most-acclaimed shows of our time.
