	The inaugural performance of Troy Civic Theatre's _Classics in the
Park_ series kicks off with a performance of William Shakespeares
_Twelfth Night_,  directed by Kathy Glasser, at Barker Park in Troy,
NY on June 28th at 7:30 PM. This performance is brought to the
community free of charge in association with the City of Troy and Troy
Night Out. 

	Additional performances of _Twelfth Night_ will be held at The Arts
Center of the Capital Region, 265 River Street, Troy, on June 29th,
July 12th ">

 		Twelfth Night; or, What You Will_ is a comedy by William
Shakespeare, believed to have been written around 160102 as a Twelfth
Night's entertainment for the close of the Christmas season. The play
expanded on the musical interludes and riotous disorder expected of
the occasion, with plot elements drawn from the short story "Of
Apollonius and Silla" by Barnabe Rich, based on a story by Matteo
Bandello. The first recorded performance was on 2 February 1602, at
Candlemas, the formal end of Christmastide in the year's calendar. The
play was not published until its inclusion in the 1623 First Folio.
