Within a year after John Steinbeck created Of Mice and Men as a novel, he
adapted it into a play.

This tale of two longtime companions who have worked together on a
succession of agricultural jobs are hoping to one day have a place to call
their own.

The play finds them on a farm not remarkably different from those they have
worked on before, but there is a sense that the fate which has been trailing
them for some time has caught up.

The story deals with friendship, ambitions, and hopes and dreams in a very
difficult time in the country's history.
Our cast features ten actors, some new to our stage and some familiar. Dick
Griffin, as Candy, is back with us, as are Bill Douglas and George Filieau
in the roles of George and Lennie.

Among the group of new talent are Jill Wanderman, as Curley’s Wife, and
Dennis Skiba, as Slim.
Join us for an afternoon or evening of discovery and reflection.

Show dates are Mar. 8, 9, 14,15 & 16 at 8pm and Mar. 10 & 17 at 2:30pm.

Tickets are $16-Adult, $10-Under 18 and reservations can be made at
518-674-2007 or www.slca-ctp.org.
