Summer Shakespeare Institute
“Out of my sight, thou doth infect my eye!” Now that’s an insult.
A three week performance-intensive program designed for teens to explore the visceral excitement of Shakespeare’s comedies and tragedies. Begin with a foundation of vocal technique and scene study, then incorporate physical comedy and knock-down, drag-out sword fights. Students will have the opportunity to tackle some of The Bard’s most exciting scenes, and the program culminates with a series of performances.
