Theater Project of Schoharie County presents Steel Magnolias at Golding
Middle School, Cobleskill on Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18 at 7:00 pm
and on Sunday, May 19 at 2:00 pm.  Directed by Josh Shuart assisted by Jason
Pratt, the action centers on Truvy's beauty parlor and the women who
regularly gather there. The story begins on the morning of Shelby's wedding
to Jackson and covers events over the next three years, including Shelby's
decision to have a child despite having Type 1 diabetes and the
complications that result from the decision. Tickets are $8.00 for adults
and $6.00 for seniors and students and may be purchased as the door or in
advance at Race Printing, 111 Barnerville Road, Cobleskill.   This
production is made possible in part by public funds from the
Decentralization Program of the NYS Council on the Arts administered by the
