Sign up now to be a part of the first play reading of HMT's 2013-14 Shuster Series
this Sunday!

As you may have heard, this season the Shuster Series is going to be less about 
staging a reading for an audience and more about the play and the reading of it.
 We're looking to have actors who are interested in reading plays join in to read
and discuss each piece. Audience members (non-readers) are welcome to participate
in the discussion too. There's no rehearsal - just the one day we get together.

This Sunday, October 13th we'll be reading The Voysey Inheritance by the English
 playwright Harvey Granville Barker. Set in London at the turn of the last century
it tells the story of a family crisis concerning a Ponzi scheme. It's full of moral
turpitude, courage, jealousy, bullying, all the hallmarks of a good old family feud,
and for those who are puzzled by how (or why) Madoff did what he did, this play 
helps to explain both.

We're still planning to gather once a month during our fall to spring season. The
first two readings this fall will be led by Director/Actor Dianne O'Neill Filer.
 From there, the rest of the season will be chosen by the participants in the group.
The person whose work is chosen will then become the leader for that reading.
