[Theater Voices]

*THEATER VOICES* will present a *staged reading* of

*Arms and the Man*, by George Bernard Shaw

Directed by Eileen Schuyler.



*ONE WEEKEND ONLY!* Performances are Friday, February 14, at 8:00pm;
Saturday, February 15, at 3:00pm and 8:00pm; and Sunday February 16 at
3:00pm at the Steamer No. 10 Theatre, 500 Western Avenue in Albany.
Admission is free.

House opens half hour before performance.



Set during the Serbo-Bulgarian War of 1885, Shaw's classic comedy sparkles
with wit and delightful insight into the foibles of human nature. A young
woman, her family and their servants are confronted with situations
challenging the romantic ideals about war, love, society and themselves. A
soldier who substitutes chocolates for pistol cartridges sets the stage for
humorous conflict.
