Theater Project of Schoharie County Presents: Elm Circle, the story of a
15-year-old troubled teen who struggles with reality and runs away to New
York City. Written by Mike Casale, a graduate of Lansingburgh High School
and SUNY Plattsburgh, it is directed by Willard Martin and produced by Ron
Cleeve.

The action begins in Troy, New York were Janet Ann, a lonely teenager with a
vivid imagination, chafes under the restraints imposed by her blue collar
family. She dreams of becoming a movie star and believes she is on her way
to achieving her goal when she persuades her brother, a would-be songwriter,
to run off with her to New York City. But her hopes remain elusive and her
fantasies become increasingly bizarre, as Janet Ann is drawn into a series
of picturesque but destructive adventures while zig-zagging across the
country in her westward flight.

Selected by the Dramatists Guild/New Plays Program, this affecting and
imaginatively constructed play was initially presented by New York's famed
Playwrights Horizons.

Performances at Golding Middle School Auditorium, Cobleskill: Thursday,
Friday, Saturday, March 27, 28, & 29 at 7:30 pm; Sunday, March 30 at 2:00
